Botanical Art Workshop

Last year, the library offered a one-day workshop introducing people to botanical art. It was taught by Scott Stapleton, an accomplished artist living in Minneapolis. Scott is going to be in Camas again, and is hosting a Botanical Art Workshop. It won’t be a demonstration.  It’ll be an opportunity for you to bring the projects you’re working on, and for Scott to do the same.  And then, for everyone to share their experiences making their art, and then receive some good ideas and lots of encouragement for keeping on with it.  Scott’s had lots of practice doing this sort of thing.  Nothing would please him more than to see you grow in confidence and expertise.

So, plan on it.  Break out your watercolor paints and brushes and start working on something now.  And then bring it to the library on Wednesday, May 29 at 4:30 pm.  You will need to register for this event.  Registration is limited to 15 and is for adults.
