Bring your creativity to life in this comic zine workshop with Nadia Shaik of Garam Masala Studios! Using a mix of materials like magazines, newspapers, and collage paper, kids will craft their own unique, multimedium comics.

This program is for kids in grades 1-5 with an adult. All materials provided.

Nadia Shaik is the founder of Garam Masala Studios and the author of Climate Keepers: Agents of Project Zero (2022), a collaboration with Dark Horse Comics. A contemporary multimedia author based in Beaverton, OR, she explores storytelling through various mediums and formats.
