Event Details

What do the Loch Ness monster, the Yeti, the Kraken, and the chupacabra have in common? They’re all cryptids! They lurk in the shadows and have yet to be caught! What creepy creature is hiding in your small town?

Rules:

  • Contest is open to all ages.
  • One entry per person.
  • Use whatever medium you’d like to create your cryptid (paint, digital, sculpture, papier-mâché, etc...)
  • You must submit the form below with your artwork.
  • All submissions are due on Monday, October 16 at 5 p.m.
  • Voting will take place October 17-25.
  • The three cryptids with the most votes will be announced as the winners on Thursday, October 26. The winners will receive a prize.
  • All creations will be on display at the Library until October 31.
