Susan is The Camas Bee Lady and tender of the library hive and brand new pollinator garden. Come learn how your patch of ground (or balcony!) can help to save the earth! In a time when many of us feel pretty helpless about our environment, there is a new movement afoot that can actually restore our biosphere, and it is through folks like you, one garden at a time. Susan will be sharing the work of Doug Tallemy and his bestselling book, “Nature’s Best Hope,” which encourages us all to begin gardening with plants native to our region. Here in the PNW, we have an abundance of beautiful flowering plants and trees that can help to restore soil, air and water quality, and pollinator populations. Come listen, bring your questions, and learn why YOU are nature’s best hope.
