What is the Teen Library Council? Our Teen Library Council (TLC) provides teens ages 14-17 with the opportunity to make a positive difference in our community and have input in the way the Library serves teens.

What We Do: 
Promote and help out at children and teen programs. 
Serve as an integral part of our Summer Reading Program volunteer team. 
Give back to the community through outreach projects.
Provide input for what programs teens need from the Library.

What You Gain: 
Volunteer credit
Skills and experience (this looks great on a college or job application!)

The chance to have a positive impact on your community

Requirements & Commitment 
14 to 17 years of age
An e-mail address that you check regularly
Attend the monthly meetings
Sign up to assist in running Library events
Spread the word about teen programs happening at the Library
