Event Details
Join us for our series designed to equip library advocates with the skills and tools to make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn to define your advocacy goals, craft compelling messages, understand your audience, and effectively tell the story of your library’s value. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to strengthen your efforts, these classes will offer essential insights and practical exercises to help you champion the important role libraries play in our communities.
This session will focus on Defining Advocacy. We will look at advocacy in the context of public libraries, why library advocacy is an important part of community work, and what advocacy activities look like.
