Program Description

Event Details

Join us for our series designed to equip library advocates with the skills and tools to make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn to define your advocacy goals, craft compelling messages, understand your audience, and effectively tell the story of your library’s value. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to strengthen your efforts, these classes will offer essential insights and practical exercises to help you champion the important role libraries play in our communities.

This session will focus on Developing Your Advocacy Goal.

The first step in developing an Advocacy Action Plan is developing an advocacy goal. This session will define what an     advocacy goal is, how best to develop an advocacy goal for your library, and how an advocacy goal can be used to develop a full advocacy plan. You will develop your own advocacy goal and objectives to use throughout the remainder of our sessions.
