Program Description

Event Details

This program takes place after the library has closed, please be in the building before the doors lock at 6.

Join us for our series designed to equip library advocates with the skills and tools to make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn to define your advocacy goals, craft compelling messages, understand your audience, and effectively tell the story of your library’s value. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to strengthen your efforts, these classes will offer essential insights and practical exercises to help you champion the important role libraries play in our communities.

If you've missed an earlier session, please reach out and we can catch you up!

This session will focus on Creating & Telling Your Library Story

Opportunities to talk about the library happen every day. It is important to be ready to tell a short, compelling story about the impact a public library has and how it is valued by the community, to capture the attention and interest of your audience. In this session, you will draft a short library story and practice telling it to your peers.
