Program Description

Event Details

Join us for our series designed to equip library advocates with the skills and tools to make a meaningful impact. You’ll learn to define your advocacy goals, craft compelling messages, understand your audience, and effectively tell the story of your library’s value. Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to strengthen your efforts, these classes will offer essential insights and practical exercises to help you champion the important role libraries play in our communities.

This session will focus on Identifying Target Audiences

An essential component of advocacy is knowing who the decision-makers are who you need to reach to achieve your advocacy goal. This session will review the concept of a target audience and why it is important to identify one. You will then practice identifying the right target audiences for your libraries.
